How to Participate

We will be using the StartMeeting platform for the calls. To participate, please follow the instructions below.  

Participate by Phone App

  • Download the StartMeeting App

  • Launch the app.

  • Enter in the meeting ID: alumnigroup

  • Tap Join.

  • Enter security code: 123456

  • Tap submit.

  • You will be asked to enter your name and email. This allows me to recognize you.

  • To put yourself in the queue, tap the question mark icon in bottom left of app.

Participate by Computer

  • Download and install the application.

  • Launch the StartMeeting application.

  • Click Join.

  • Enter your name, email address and the meeting ID: alumnigroup

  • Click Join.

  • Enter security code: 123456

  • Click Join with computer audio.

  • To put yourself in the queue, Click the Q&A question mark icon in bottom left of app.

NOTE: If you are participating using the desktop or phone app, leave the mic icon as is, blacked out, when you tap Join Meeting. This will allow us to unmute you. In other words, do NOT tap the mic icon to mute yourself if you want to get in the queue and be unmuted.

Participate by Phone

  • Call (774) 267-7293

  • Local numbers for calling in outside the United States can be found here.

  • To put yourself in the queue, dial *6, then 1.

If you dial in before the host of the call has joined, do not press *6. This will mute you in a way the host (me) can’t unmute you. After you hear Q&A Session has started, press *6, then 1 to put yourself in the queue. You are welcome to use your phone’s mute feature, just be sure to unmute yourself when you hear that you are unmuted.

Everyone will be muted at the beginning of each call. Instructions for how to participate on the group calls will be given during the first group.

Please conduct the call in a quiet location that minimizes distractions and supports your complete focus in the group.
