Support Groups
To access joy, one must be able to witness and be with what was previously unacceptable; the pain, rage, grief, intense body sensations, the ups, the downs, the sideways. This is the journey of healing.
— Laura Carr
You’re not alone. Healing happens in connection.
Our groups offer guided, supportive spaces to explore shared experiences, deepen insight, and build resilience with others who “get it.” Each group is therapist-led and rooted in our CBAT approach.
Coming Home to the Body
A Compassion-Based, Somatic Process Group
The body remembers. Early experiences are often held not as stories, but as sensations, patterns of breath, tension, posture, and movement. Healing is not about correcting those adaptations. It begins with listening to them with kindness and awareness.
This 6-week somatic process group is inspired by the body’s innate intelligence and offers a slow, compassionate space to reconnect with yourself.
What We'll Practice:
Somatic awareness and interoception (listening to the body from within)
Gentle, optional, choice-based movement
Nervous system awareness, safety, and attunement
Cultivating intuition and inner trust
Slowing down without pressure to perform or change
This group may be for you if you:
Are curious about embodiment and nervous system awareness
Want a gentle, non-performative approach
Are ready to engage in a shared group space
This group may not be a fit if:
You're seeking intensive trauma processing
You want a physically demanding practice
You're currently in acute crisis and need 1:1 support
Beginning Summer 2026
Wednesdays 5–6:30pm | $70/session
